There had to be some kind of reason everyone kept falling in love with him. Elaine of Corbenic, the high sorceress Vivien, god-damn Queen Guinevere, Elaine of Astolat, even frickin' Arthur himself at one point!!
Things were getting ridiculous, but luckily a new quest had arrived and the hope of a break from being Camelot's heart-throb was too good to pass up. Now doing what he really loved, helping people and upholding the code of Chivalry and being a devoted loyal knight of King Arthur (which is NOT to be mistaken for romantic Merlin, put the pagan marriage vows DOWN), Sir Lancelot (disguised, otherwise who knows who might try and marry him) embarks to face the mighty enemy: the Lord of Distant Isles, a half-giant warlord who threatens to conquer Arthur's lands and has already subdued thirty kingdoms but refuses to be crowned until he takes Logres from Arthur, which currently... he has almost achieved.

His mother, Lady Nimue, would tell stories of the king of dragons, King Arthur, and how his past was spent protecting the kingdom of Camelot before his disappearance.
