But, why, what changed this, you might ask,my dear reader. I will tell you, in the form of a story, but remember things are not as they seem.

Journey within the beast world
It was dark. *Bu-bump... Bu-bump... * Tiny heartbeats and blood pumping is the only thing you can hear. Trying to open your eyes but no avail, you tried to stretch your body but you could only do much. You couldn't do anything besides thinking and feeling the warmth that surrounds you. 'Where am I..? Gosh, I'm so sleepy.... Hnmm.. ' You tried to recall everything, and it slowly came to you. 'Where are everyone? I was just with them a moment ago.... "Trying to escape me, my love" My eyes blurred with tears of pain and frustration. His touch making me glare at him in disgust. His grip on my waist tightened making me wince. "You forgot so soon my little mate" He tsked, his voice void of any amusement. "Ahh" I gasped as he pulled me closer to him, pulling my hairs in a brutal grip. "you can't escape me, afterall I am written in your stars" He chuckled darkly, like a monster he is. .......................................................................................................................................................... My parents named me Ariel thinking and hoping that my life would be just like a fairytale where I would end up living a happily ever after. Little did they know that it was going to be far from that.

What happens if you wake up and the world you know is gone? The country you called home is a shadow of its former self, divided and at war. Worst still, the only person you love is missing, lost in this hostile world. This is a bleak portrait of a dis-United Kingdom where North is fighting South, and the rest of the world has been turned upside down. Inspired by a dream (nightmare?) my father had when I was young, I started writing this story years ago and discovered it again recently, determined to finish it. I don't really do science fiction, so this is my first foray into the genre -- though technically speaking this is more alternative history than sci-fi. Let me know what you think!Concluida

Alone. Naked. Cold. Covered in blood that is just as likely to be mine as someone else's. I don't know who I am, where I am, or what I'm running from. All I get are flashes, snippets of dark shadows, sneering faces. Pain always follows these nightmares, these memories. I was found, taken in, but I have no way of knowing if I only escaped the frying pan just to jump into the fire. I don't understand these people, these wolves. They don't understand me, either. Our words mean nothing to each other, they're no more than sounds. We use gestures, facial expressions, body language like the beasts we seem to be.
