What would you do if you were destined to be with a person from the start? Ever since you were little, you've been raised to think that "it" determins who you have to spend your life with. "It" makes you think that you can't love anyone else. "It" is supposed to make your life easier. "It" was always there.

I saw a post about this on tumblr (The user was named Psyducked, it may not be now) and I decided to give my own version of how I thought things would turn out?

Hi readers! This is a short story which was inspired by my own experiences. It's been two years since I left my love and up until now, I'm still struggling to get over him. I had to let go of his hand not because I wanted to but because I had to make a sacrifice for someone else's sake and happiness. He was my greatest 'what if' and I was his greatest regret. Although most of the scenes happened in real life, the rest are pure imagination especially the intense and happy part. We may have just been a "once upon a time" in real life but in this story, I made what should've been our 'happily ever after'.
