His unwanted bride βοΈ (edited)
37 parts Complete Ailzeh wasn't supposed to be here.
She had finished early, decided to surprise him.
But as she stepped into his office, her smile froze.
A woman stood too close, laughing, her hand on his arm. And Saad-he didn't push her away.
His gaze met hers, panic flashing in his eyes. "Ailzeh-"
She turned and walked away.
He caught up in the elevator. "Let me explain-"
"Don't." Her voice was deadly quiet.
"Ailzeh, it's not-"
"I don't care." The doors slid open. She left.

At home, her hands trembled as she pulled out a contract.
Her name. His name.
"Marriage is a business agreement. Divorce upon completion of terms."
Her breath hitched. A choked laugh slipped past her lips.
The door burst open. "Ailzeh-"
She turned, eyes burning.
Saad paled at the contract in her hands.
"You were going to divorce me," she whispered.
"Ailzeh, listen-"
She threw the papers at him. "Tell me I'm wrong!"
He flinched. "I-"
She laughed bitterly. "You can't."
"I never planned to go through with it-"
"Oh? So you strung me along instead?" Her voice cracked.
Pain flickered across his face. "Ailzeh-"
"I trusted you." Her voice was hoarse, thick with betrayal.
