(Yet another story, yet another chance for me to write something new, yet *another* OC into Remnant....man I have zero creativity...)
In a strange turn of events, our protagonist, known as Maria, finds herself awakening in a new world, completely unaware of how she got here, when she had just gone to bed only moments ago. In a new world, with an ability that allows her to pull different versions of herself from the world of Project Moon and gain their strengths, while a sentient gamer system-like entity is constantly yelling at her to complete certain tasks to become stronger and to gain materials to make her alternate forms stronger.

Given that Zanli had given up writing the story due to burnout, I figured that I would pick up where he left off. Disclaimer: RWBY is owned by Hitotsubashi Group. Limbus Company and its prequels are owned by Project Moon. This may be the first fanfic that's about the monster from the reverse-horror game called Carrion! Let's see how it goes! All art, videos, music, etc. belong to their original owners. I DO NOT OWN ANYTHING, BUT MY OWN WRITING!!!!! Beware of spoilers. Play the game or watch the gameplay of Carrion to truly understand the character. Also, I won't be using anything the game trailers showed us. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- After butchering and consuming everyone in that underground laboratory and escaping under the guise of a human, you went into hiding in society. Switching between appearances to stay hidden along with eating people that no one would miss, especially criminals. You'd sometimes eat some grimm too. What happened to you is that you were born as a bizarre pile of biomass created by nature's natural selection. When some humans made contact with you years later, you immediately infected and possessed one of them and began to evolve rapidly. It was then you developed a personality and can think like an intelligent species. All before being captured, experimented on, and then escaping not long after. Luckily for the world, you aren't super bloodthirsty or a complete psychopath. Your personality is that of someone humble and wanting peace. Just like how mother nature is and must be respected as so. Speaking of the world, you figure out that the world you reside in now is called Remnant. Compared to the laboratory below, the outside world is much worse with the Grimm and humans fighting each other. But it is also the world where you will actually find your place in these harsh lands of savage beasts and advanced weaponry. Along with those whom you will reside alongside with. And if anyone wishes to take them from you, they will know the color of death from within. You are the monster. You are the parasite. You are... Carrion This is your story.
