Shadow's In The Snow (Peter Pan x Jack Frost)

Building off the idea I had for my last fic on these two. OUAT Peter Pan (sort of, I mean he's kinda my inspo). Peter obviously hasn't been around as long as Jack. J.M. Barrie first wrote about him back in 1902, and Jack's from the 1800s. So they've both been around awhile. Sort of.

Peter can't recall how long it's been, just that it's been going on for awhile. Everytime he'd venture out of Neverland he'd always find himself looking for a certain winter boy. Observing him from afar. For some reason even though he'd never spoken to him, the moment he first saw Jack, Pan just couldn't get him off his mind.

A laugh always heard from afar luring him closer to the source. Pan wanted to hear that laugh against his ear. To hold the source of it. It was almost animalistic. He wanted to be seen. To be noticed by Jack, and, before he realized it, Pan started to be bolder.

Wanting to be caught.

Wanting to be noticed.

Whether it was a small rock he shot at a tree by the other boy, or a small break in ice he had caused, or even a brief glimpse of his shadow in the snow, he wanted those eyes to look at him for once. To search for him.

Pan's favorite pass time felt like something more. It was different. Different from when the Darling's were around. Different from his fights with hook, or how he was with his lost boys.

Something told him that if he could just be closer to him, he'd be able to figure it out.

If Pan could just catch Jack when he was alone. But not everything goes the way we want them to.
