Frankie's only escape from her day-to-day hell is screaming her lungs out in dive bars two towns over. With a bass slung across her chest and her band behind her, she pours every ounce of rage, frustration, and pain into their hardcore metal sets. It's the only time she feels real-when the crowd is loud and no one can hear her mother's voice in her head. She doesn't know someone's been listening. Boone is a cowboy vampire with a past soaked in blood and a voice that once lit up the Western frontier with his ballads. But music died for him long ago-until he hears her. Frankie's sound is raw, guttural, alive. It drags something human back to the surface, something he thought he buried decades ago. He's not sure if he wants to protect her... or taste her. Their worlds were never meant to touch. But the stage has a way of pulling the dead back to life. This story is still under work currently. Cover photo will change eventually 🙌

A violent passion. A dangerous bond. A nightmare that will change everything. To Ava, love is about as real as fairytales. But it might be that fairytales, myths, and magic have some truth to them after all - as well as the monsters that lie in the shadows. Or she could just be completely out of her mind. After a mental breakdown and a move to a new town, everything changes when Ava clashes with a stranger with eyes as black as midnight and a terrifying sinister air. Her wishes to feel something again become granted. But Ava soon learns that not only is he as cold as he is beautiful, but he brings something out of her, stronger than ever, like fuel to fire - something she's desperate to bury. He haunts her dreams and waking life, and staying away becomes harder than she could have ever imagined, risking her life, her humanity, and the people that she cares about. Not to mention the fate of the world. She's fighting for life. He's fighting for death. What does it take to live? What does it take to love?
