Before Narnia, before the Pevensies became kings and queens, there was Selene Kingsley-the Pevensies' closest friend and the one they never quite noticed was anything more than a shadow in their lives. They had each other, but she had always had him: Peter, the fearless older brother, the protector, the one who commanded attention. And for years, she watched from the sidelines, a silent admirer, forever cast in the role of a sister-his little sister, as he called her, never suspecting that her heart belonged to him.
In the quiet moments before their lives would change forever, before they stepped into the world that would call them kings and queens, she kept her feelings hidden. She didn't want to be the one who disrupted the harmony of their friendship-especially when the love she felt for him seemed like an impossible dream. But fate, and the prophecy, had other plans.
When the time comes, and Narnia opens its doors to them, she will face the choice of a lifetime: remain the invisible friend, or step into her true destiny-a queen who has always loved him, but may never be loved in return.

Isabell never knew who her birth parents were, and she never asked. She was content with the couple who adopted her. But their time together was cut short. By the age of 14, she was left orphaned. Her mother was claimed by cancer when she was 7, and her father never returned from his last deployment with the army. As per her parents wills, she was sent to her grandfather's closest friend. She had never met the professor before, but he welcomed her with kindness and open arms. Over her 2 year stay with him, the professor eased her mind with stories of a magical land he called Narnia. He spoke fondly of the place, as if it were real. But Isabell never believe them to be more than simple stories. But she is proven wrong when her childhood friends arrive at the manor, and the youngest stumbles through a wardrobe in the spare room. Isabell soon finds out that the professor's stories were more than made up fantasies to help her sleep. And she in the Pevensies find more than they had hoped to in Narnia. Isabell learns more about herself and the blood that runs through her veins. Their lives will never be the same after entering the wardrobe.
