When a poor girl named Alex stumbles across Albert, the King of Blackmist, her life is thrown into chaos. He can't take his eyes off her after he met her, but she wants nothing to do with him. The next few days seem normal until she finds an envelope on her doorstep. On the inside the note is from Albert which tells her about the mandatory competition for his hand in marriage. She is outraged by this, but there is nothing she can do, but do everything in her power to lose. Will she give into Albert's marriage game or get kicked out?
