Watch Out for PDA (a supernatural boyband story)

Brigid doesn't know it yet, but she's descended from a family with an ancient bloodline, one tasked to "watch" and police supernatural creatures that feed on human emotions.

PDA, Pander Directly to Audience, is the hottest new boyband to hit the US. Like many other groups, their monstrous heritage requires them to forge connections with humans and feed from their adoration. They also must employ a "watcher" to keep them in check and make sure they don't cross the line between entertainer and devourer, something that happens far too often in the industry.

PDA has a different goal than other groups, and have taken their time to pick a watcher that aligns with their goals and will work with them in trust rather than disgust. When they're almost out of time, Brigid begins to share dreams with them, and the guys become increasingly convinced that destiny is leading them to choosing her as their watcher. Now, they just have to find her... and explain thousands of years of history and magic to a silver-haired witch that doesn't believe in any of it--all while avoiding her territorial, distrustful familiar.

I'm not entirely sure where this story is going yet. I can't write a story that doesn't have romance, but I'm not sure if it's her and all of them, her and one of them, all three of them together with her as a friend and guide, or....? I guess the characters will let us all know if they continue to let me write this story.
