Isabella, also known as bunny to her family, Berzatto never asked to be a Berzatto.

At sixteen, she's the youngest of the Berzatto siblings: loud, stubborn, and already worn thin by a lifetime of surviving her mother's rage and her siblings' mistakes. She used to have Mikey, the only person who could make the chaos feel almost safe. But when Mikey took his own life, Isabella was left behind, stuck in her senior year of high school with a hole in her chest no one seems able to fill.

Now Carmy, the brother who left years ago, is back in Chicago: struggling to keep The Beef afloat and trying to be something like a guardian to the little sister he barely knows anymore. Isabella doesn't make it easy; in her life, love has always come tangled up with shouting matches, slammed doors, drinking, drugs, and words that can't be taken back.

Between the kitchen's heat, the family's grief, and the scars Donna left behind, Isabella has to figure out how to keep going-how to stay Bunny when the only person who really saw her is gone. Because being a Berzatto means never truly breaking... never asking for help... even when you probably should.
