Have you ever cried so much that your tears stopped falling?
Or suddenly started breathing steadily while gasping for air?
Have you ever yelled at your loved ones in a moment of rage, only for the anger to melt into tears?
That strange sense of peace that sometimes comes when you wake up in the morning... or fall asleep at night?
Yeah, Yok felt those things a lot.
But when he drowned himself in drinking or painting, he never felt alone in his own world.
Was it disturbing to feel a presence he couldn't see? Maybe.
But was he uncomfortable? No.
Why would someone be disturbed by their guardian angel, anyway?
In a world that grows darker every day, the souls of good people are sent back to Earth as angels -
To protect other good souls.
Though, maybe "goodness" is a relative concept.
Maybe he wasn't all that good himself.
Maybe that's why he was only assigned a beginner-level angel from the First Realm.
Chonlatee - or Chon, as he was known in Heaven - was murdered at just 19 years old and became an angel.
Due to his inexperience, he had only made it to the First of the Seven Realms.
Now, how was he supposed to protect a reckless delinquent that most angels had already refused?
And what happens when feelings get involved?
-
Chon will always be an angel in my eyes and I want to see my angel happier...
Twice's "Candy boy" song, angels, and my dear babies!!
