She never knew her biological father, and her mother, Lauren Volkov, abandoned her when she was young as well; nine, to be exact. She was born with a rare form of Congenital Insensitivity to Pain and was unable to feel physical pain, so she never complained about something as simple as a paper cut or a stubbed toe since her brain didn't register it. After her mother left her, Katherine and George Walter took her in, having basically watched her grow up since Katherine and Lauren had known each other for as long as anyone remembered...until she up and left her only daughter behind that is. Nicolette moved in with them when she was nine and was practically raised alongside the Walter kids, as well as the Garcia boys when they moved in as well. She'd managed to get her life, and her mental illnesses, in order just when things in her life changed once more.
