Taken || Book 2 of 2 in the Sam's Back series
Sam was gone, for good, Mumbo had killed him and he hadn't respawned. He was dead. Grian trusted in the kindness of the world and he opened up, but that was his biggest mistake. Because what if Sam wasn't dead? What if they had been tricked by a simple hack? What if Scar and Mumbo went missing? What if they were taken? Grian would have to find out the consequences of those 'what if's the hard way. A sequel to "Sam's Back", I suggest reading that first if you haven't already since otherwise this won't make sense. A YHS/Hermitcraft fanfic. Angsty. There's some mild Grumbo shipping but it could just be seen as platonic. Also Scar/Cub shipping, but only really at the very end and you can ignore it if you want. Trigger warnings: death loops, permadeath, Sam being Sam, manipulation, self hatred, torture, general angsty stuff. There's a happy ending though! Grian is cursed, or at least, that's what it seems. Trapped against his will to play a cruel game and sacrificing himself for his friends, Grian knows little of happiness. Now forced to throw away his very humanity itself, he must learn to become one of the very beings that toyed with both him and his friends. Will the games ever end, or is he fated to a life of pain and anguish until the bitter end? Note: this contains a lot of angst. There are also a few scenes with blood, but nothing too graphic. (I'm pretty squeamish when it comes to blood myself). The Skulk | Grian Hermitcraft Au (Gave Up On)
Don't start a resistance. It's hard to not but Grian can't just start a resistance in every single season. Right? Eventually, finding himself a corner in one of the rocks to reassure himself that he didn't need to start a resistance. Sitting there, minutes on end. He just can't help it. However everytime he's there, he would feel a weird sensation. As if something is telling him, he must start a resistance. Surely it can't be anything right? Grian was sure that the sculk doesn't spread unless a mob dies near it right? So it mustn't be the sculk. What can it be then? Eventually it got even worse. From a sensation, it changed into voices. Everytime he was in the shopping district, something would tell him to set the whole place on fire or blow it up or kill everyone. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ This is not my first story since I started another one a few days back but lost motivation and it eventually felt like a chore. So I have basically 1% more experience than I had back then. Hope you enjoy this. Since I don't want to pressure myself this is the release time for chapters: A week: usually 1 or less or more chapters out, just based on my motivation and what's going on for me rn, I have a life too lol. Grian was getting used to the safety of the Hermitcraft server quite well. He still had bad days in which all the memories of his high school life came back to him and ate away at his mind. However, he also had good days, when he could spend time with his friends and live happily, normally. On one of his bad days though, he finds a white bunny with a nametag reading 'Sam' wrapped around it's neck. It was an accident, surely, probably part of Stress's shenanigans. Probably just a coincidence that the handwriting spelling the name looked like someone else's... someone from Grian's past. But Grian wasn't thinking of what it probably was when he ran. But it turns out, running has consequences. OR Samgladiator joined the game A YHS/Hermicraft fanfic, involves very mild Grumbo shipping but you can read it as purely platonic if that's what you want. Trigger warnings are: death (not permadeath), knives, stabbing, abuse, fighting, manipulation, PTSD, Sam being Sam, blood and general angsty stuff. Don't worry though, it has a happy ending! On his 8th birthday, he was gifted a high tech spirit box, quickly falling in love. Going around in the forest with that thing, trying to talk to any ghosts, never getting a response but that never brought him down. But one day, out in the forest, he stumbled upon three unique cats, each one special in a familiar way. But he gained more and more, each of them from the forest. A strong, unbreakable connection that many hated, including his parents. On his 18th birthday, he was forced to make a decision on that day from his parents. Either he gets rid of his cats and stays home, or leave. For anything in the world vs. his cats, his cats will always be his choice. So he left and never heard a word from his parents. *Originally on AO3, but now crossposted*

And so, he ran again, using his Watcher powers he always feared so much to his advantage. Grian landed in Hermitcraft, where he was finally free to be himself.. kind of. When Season 7 rolled around, Grian feels something isn't right. He doesn't know whether he should drop his "always happy!" act, or whether he should call for help. Sometimes, Glitches Are Good
Or at least, they end up okay. Tommy discovers this as one day, running from Dream and his exile, he falls through the snow and wakes up in an odd world, one with lots of people! Even more people than the DreamSMP, but not quite as many as SMP Earth, which he hardly remembers. Now, in this new world, far friendlier than his old, he must help his newest friends find the friend that disappeared from their world. Meanwhile, Grian wasn't sure where he was or who any of these people were until he bumps into Phil. When he found out a man called Dream had hurt his old friend's kid, he wasn't very happy to say the least. He was particularly angry at how the kid was dragged into their stupid wars, and didn't hesitate to tell the man who wore a plain mask off, much to the surprise of everyone there. It's not every day you see a 5'6 man in an oversized red sweater screaming his head off at one of the most dangerous men in the server. He has to learn how to juggle his sudden nightmares, the insanity of his new world, and the issue of getting home all at once, and he must admit, it was very stressful. Will they be able to get home, or will they be stuck swapped forever? They both had people, friends, family counting on them to come home. Counting on them to return to them. They couldn't let them down. Aka Tommy gets therapy and Grian gives everyone else therapy.مكتمِلة

A long time ago Grian was an admin of an amazing server, but he was kidnapped from it, never to see his friends again. Then, he escaped, but everyone was gone. Now he's found a new group to befriend, but they don't trust him. Has he truly escaped his past, or is it bound to catch up to him sometime? Dear Reader, This series is a watcher!grian AU but will alternate perspectives. I've only ever watched Pearl's and Grian's POVs of Hermitcraft so some creative liberties will be taken.
