The story is inspired by a 2015 song which was a big hit called Can't Feel My Face sung by popular singer The Weeknd. It's safe to say most people know the meaning behind Can't Feel My Face but in this story the meaning is completely different, this story is about 2 people. A man who is a senior partner at a corporate law firm, he was once a top lawyer at the law firm but has gone into a downward spiral. A woman who is one of the best insurance investigators in the city, she is loved and adored by nearly all her peers.
Both Him and Her reside in The Upper West Side of Manhattan not too far from one another and they are both having a fling which is the only happiness this man who is a washed up corporate lawyer has in his very miserable life, despite the all short term pleasure he feels when he is with this Woman and how much being with her helps keep his mind off the bad place he is currently in, there is something about his lover that is very unknown.
