Hoping to shake this human off once and for all, I twisted my body around rapidly with a plan to put my words into action. When I was on my way to push this man as deep into the floor as possible my body all of the sudden went rigid. When my body froze solid, so did my brain. It took me several seconds to get out of my trance and when I finally did, all that was running through my mind were two words. Those eyes. All of the feelings that I had been hiding for the last 160 years were now coming crashing down on me. They were literally shooting out from this human's eyes like fire. A fire that burned into my core.

No clue where I am, no memory of how I got here, no sign of my parents and no way to contact anyone for salvation. With only the clothes on my back, it appears I'm forever lost in the forests of this new unrecognisable world with only the tools I can make myself to survive the harsh conditions of the wilderness. ...Or so I thought, until I met her.

"What is it?" "Oh it's nothing." I state nervously. "Tell me." He demands almost surprising me. "Ah- no, It's just, I was wondering, since the scratch healed so fast, I was thinking that there's no way you could be human, I guess- I think-" "I was human." he cuts me off as he looks away.

You didn't mean to fall for him. He was supposed to be a monster. He didn't mean to fall for you. You wear supposed to be another weak and silly human. But strange things happen. And maybe it won't be so bad?

How doest it feel when you cannot express what you feel for the person you like?...How does it feel when even if you have the voice...you don't have the courage? How does it feel when the person you wish to held....will never live any longer?

I never struck myself as the type of man to stare at a corpse, but there was something about this one that gave me a sense of compassion; a sense of... Lust. Maybe it was empathy. But I would not alter my view right now if I could. It was rare, and raw, this moment between myself and this stranger, deep scarlet, some sort of pull stronger than any I have ever experienced with anyone whose lips grazed mine.

"Goddess I wish there were baby, truly I do but you have to work your way through it and just know that this will end. It may get worse before it does, a lot worse, but this will pass, and I will be here on the other side when it does." He promised. I didn't respond, I wasn't sure how to respond because once more, deep down in my heart I knew that I could trust his words. How much regret and sorrow were laced through his voice made it obvious that he felt like this was his fault, like he had somehow cause this to happen, and while that made no sense I knew there was a reason he felt that way and by the end of this I was going to find that reason out.
