You really shouldn't get captured as a spy for one of the most hated gods, for you'll probably be hung or fed to a dreki. That was the punishment Velimir Dagmar was hoping you'd receive. How he writhed and grinned as you were pulled up to the alter bound in ropes. How his face dropped when his mentor spared you. Spared you for a mark on your skin that classed you as one of their own. A dreki Rider.

A renowned and loathed spy for a banished god, Mortala, is sent to find the key to an ancient chamber that all across the continent seek. But whereas the elves and gods wish to keep the chamber closed, the vengeful humans want it opened, but why? Mortala seeks such answers by traveling back to her homeland, the elven realms, where tensions are high as large numbers of elves vanish and return with their saphite stripped from their skin. But her journey takes her further north than she had hoped, prompting her capture within an elven dreki-rider castle which she must use to her advantage to find the key all the while avoiding the knowing watch of their most famed and studious rider, Velimir Dagmar who inches closer every moment to exposing her as the traitor she is. But soon she will realise the key is just the surface, and the ambitious dreki-elves have their own secrets that not only connect to the key and the disappearing elves, but to her life before death.

[Multiple identities • Metaphysics • Strong female lead • Sweet yet chaotic romance] Fu Ningyuan, once the unrivaled leader of the Xuanmen sect, wakes up to find herself transmigrated, straight into the body of a "vicious supporting actress" from a tacky CEO romance novel. Her debut scene? A classic cliché. "One million. Leave my son." The CEO's mother sneered, tossing a check at her. Fu Ningyuan took one look at the noblewoman's dimming lifespan, accepted the money with poise, and calmly placed a talisman on the table. "The price of saving your life," she said lightly. "I'll take it." --- ...And thus began her infamous career as the "shameless freeloader" of the entertainment industry. Everyone despised her, until a single episode of a live variety show changed everything. The moment someone tried to humiliate her on camera, strange misfortunes began to strike. Cars broke down. Deals fell apart. Stars fell from grace. Then came the storm of public confessions: "Whoever bullies her is an enemy of the Qin family." - Patriarch Qin "Miss Fu's kindness is heavier than a mountain-she's like a second parent to me." - Head of the Zhou family "Without her, I would've been long dead." - Renowned fortune teller And just when the world began to wonder about her true identity- The man from the powerful Pei family finally stood up and said, in a dangerously low voice, "She's mine." Fu Ningyuan: "..." She never expected that the ruined life she was thrown into would one day dazzle the entire world.

Facial Hair Confuses Babies. One of a number of random observations from an unprepared, unreliable and neurodiverse parent. This ...er... thingy, diatribe, publication, list, call it what you will is a collection of odd thoughts, random observations and general rubbish from the sleep deprived and generally caffeine-infused brain of a slightly frazzled parent. As with most parents, I'm still growing up alongside my kids and have realised that often they're probably more mature than I am. More intelligent too. Make of it what you will... a paper aeroplane seems like a good idea.... fold here...
