When Sophia got lost in the woods, many people in the group had immediately dismissed her as a lost cause. To be fair, any child in the apocalypse wasn't expected to make it very far on their own. It was a good thing that she wasn't alone.
This is a story about how one man's kindness, extended the life of a little girl set to die at twelve.
