People on earth don't know they aren't the only ones out there in the universe. And they certainly don't know they are a part of an intergalactic game where other teams from different planets fight for resources. And they especially don't know about the fact that this space game is broadcasted across the universe for entertainment....until now. Apparently the hosts of the games thought it was time to extend their audience to the unknowing populous of earth. Now everyone on earth has a chance to watch the games.
Macy our 25 year old jaded and sarcastic protagonist finds the whole ordeal another annoyance in the grand scheme of things. She's been fighting for her life as a member of the earth team for 12 years and her only concern? Surviving. So what if a couple of eyes from home can watch now? Doesn't make the games less deadly. That drive to survive has lead her to be the longest surviving member of the earth team. And she plans to survive as she always done for her 13th season of the Galactic Games.

Think weird space hunger games where the other contestants are aliens and the main character is lowkey a bitch to everyone. Possible romance. Lots of snark. And nerdy sci fi stuff. If you are into that read on.

But with every step she takes, she finds the organization, or the facility, as they call it, becoming more and more suspicious. I spring towards the house phone, dusty from years of doing absolutely nothing, so I can call the police. I don't make it. Halfway there, I trip on my own pant-leg and face plant on the floor. The woman steps over me and retrieves the phone. She looks at it as if it's a foreign object, "This won't be necessary. All I want to do is talk to you." For some reason, instead of screaming, I stay silent. She smiles and pulls out a chair from the kitchen table for me to sit on. When I don't sit, she says, "If you want to know what's going on, then sit." I think about it for a moment. She hasn't hurt me yet, and I have to admit, I am quite curious as to what's going on. Almost the exact same concept with the guys but they stay in an apartment rather than moving to a bigger house, so they're living in a somewhat cramped apartment, mostly staying human in case something happens. . . Finding an extraterrestrial entity in your trash can is definitely something happening. The Y/n is going to be the wrongdoer conflicting most of the actions listed in the warnings above. But it is to be expected, they are an alien and don't understand a lot of things but also don't really care about it. They are curious but mostly focused on finding non-human entites and connecting with them for research. Which makes them not exactly interested in Lunar until they see what he really is, then they practically become obsessed with him and tries to figure out how he works by poking him, trying to listen to his mechanics inside of him, asking odd questions, etc. But the poor precious guy sees these as signs of interest and tries to be a good potential lover by doing a bunch of little jobs for them. Lunar also shows them a few earth things, treats and places as sort of various little dates, shows them a bunch of stuff because of their obsession with research, etc. only to end up being emotionally ignored by the oblivious Alien and left behind a couple times, which definitely gets to his feelers a lot :(Complete

I know, another stupid story idea, but I think this one is an alright one. _______________________________________________ Being a fan of the Neptunia series after watching Lost Pause play the first two games I've read a lot of Hyperdimension Neptunia stories, because it's fun seeing how people can take characters like Neptune and put them in really entertaining scenarios that the games haven't yet. One thing I noticed about the more serious stories is that when it involves someone from Earth suddenly in Gamindustri, they move on from the fact they can't see their friends and family again. Some do but they usually move on quickly. Mainly because they don't have anything tying them to their old home. What if someone was in that same position, only he is completely shattered by the idea that he won't see his friends and family again? What if he couldn't just quickly move on from that and is too scared to get close to anyone now? Think about it, if you were currently ripped from this world and shoved into the next without your consent or knowledge you'd be destroyed by the fact that you're never going back home. _______________________________________________ Neptune, the protagonist of protagonists, finds a young, unconscious guy in a forest when she actually decided to work for once. She takes him to her home, telling her CPU friends about it they fly over to her to see if she was joking or not and finds it's legit. When he wakes up they find out he's not from this world, and he's not taking it very well.Complete
