There I was again tonight Forcing laughter, faking smiles Same old tired, lonely place Walls of insincerity, shifting eyes and vacancy Vanished when I saw your face All I can say is, it was enchanting to meet you Your eyes whispered, "Have we met?" 'Cross the room your silhouette Starts to make its way to me The playful conversation starts Counter all your quick remarks Like passing notes in secrecy And it was enchanting to meet you All I can say is, I was enchanted to meet you

"Oh c'mon! What do I have to do to prove to you I'm not joking and am madly in love with you, Charlotte?" "Kyle, please... just leave." He stands and i hear his soft stomps towards the door. To bounce back, I open a water bottle from the fridge and take a sip. "Charlotte?" "What, Kyle?" I snap turning around to face him before he grabs my face and yanks me in for a kiss. Soft. But a bit rough. Almost as if he was desperate to display his affection. We pull away, breathless. Our eyes slightly dazed and glossy. He swallows thickly and stares into my eyes, "There. Is that enough proof for you?"
