Emilia fillion had always lived a life full of adventure, but not always in the way she wanted. Her father, Nathan Fillion, had been a well-known actor, often in the public eye, and their lives were constantly moving. But recently, after a series of rough decisions, Nathan decided to step away from the Hollywood spotlight. Y/N's mother had passed away when she was younger, and since then, her father had done his best to shield her from the chaos of his career. But the idea of a fresh start somewhere quieter was appealing - so, when Nathan got a new role in a TV series filmed in North Carolina, he took it as the opportunity to move them both away from Los Angeles.

When they landed in North Carolina, Y/N was full of mixed emotions. On the one hand, she had the chance to start over, but on the other, she was uprooted from the life she had always known, moving from a city full of excitement and friends to a small town where she didn't know anyone.
