They met as teenagers in a Berlin café and spent eleven years trying and failing to let each other go. It was a relationship built on intensity rather than stability - stolen hours on tour buses, secret codes and foot brushes under tables, fights that ended in bed and reconciliations that ended in fights. She was the only person who ever told him no, and he was the only person who ever looked at her without seeing the model, the daughter, or the perfect one. He cheated and she found out and she stayed and he promised and he cheated again, and somehow the cycle kept spinning because neither of them knew how to be alone and neither of them knew how to be together. They married in 2015 on a beach in Los Angeles with almost no one watching, and for a while the rings made it feel permanent, like something they'd finally gotten right. But marriage only made the wounds deeper, because now every betrayal wasn't just a betrayal - it was a broken vow, a wasted year, a reason she should have left before the ink dried. She kept working, kept booking campaigns, kept building a name that was hers and not his, and that was the slow thing that saved her. By the end she wasn't the nineteen-year-old who smelled his sock and lied about being fine; she was a woman who had counted the times, the lies, and the years, and finally understood that eleven years of loving someone who couldn't love her back wasn't a love story. It was a habit she had to break.

"I hate this," Tom says, letting out a breath. "I hate that we don't know how to act around each other anymore." He looks at me with furrowed brows. "I-I don't know what to say," I look at him. I really don't. "This is what we wanted." "We?" He turns to me quickly and crosses his arms. "Let me make it clear. I didn't want this. I respected your decision and understood your reasons. But that does not mean I wanted it." He spits. I raise my eyebrows in surprise. He's frustrated, and I know that. "I'm sorry, Tom. Things have been going well. It's been stress-free. That is what I wanted." I cross my arms and frown. "Yeah, stress-free," he scoffs. He turns away from me again. "I'm glad you think so, and I'm glad you've been doing well. I just wish things were back to the way they were." The doors open and he steps out, walking in the direction of my room. "Tom, I can take the bag." I walk after him, reaching my hand out for his arm as he jerks it away from my touch. "No, I want to carry it to your room. It's heavy and it hurts your shoulder." Even mid-fight he's taking care of me. -------------------------------------------------------- When Y/N and Tom meet on the set of Spider-Man 3, sparks fly instantly. The two soon find themselves involved in a complicated situation that could cost both of them their jobs. Is the risk worth it if they might be the love of your life? -------------------------------------------------------- Hi! This story is already completely written, so chapters will be posted weekly, if not twice a week! I haven't written fanfic in a while, so I felt a little rusty. I hope you all like it (:
