Star Wars fanfic - Prequel Trilogy
Part 3 - starts 4 years before Episode II
The Jedi Council scrambles to maintain peace but their reach is stretched thin, and trust in the Republic begins to falter. Though trusted as guardians of stability, even the Jedi have begun to question the growing corruption within the Senate.
In the midst of this unrest, Jedi Knight Nyela Thenari embarks on a dangerous mission alongside Obi-Wan Kenobi. Amid the chaos, Kenobi vanishes. Left behind on the failed mission and presumed dead, his absence weighs heavily on Nyela.
Unbeknownst to her, Obi-Wan survives. Both are reassigned immediately, following their separate arrivals back on Coruscant.
Disillusioned and feeling abandoned, she walks away from the Jedi Order, casting aside her lightsaber and the name she once held dear.
Taking refuge in an old alias, Kiera Halyn, she is approached by a new voice: Count Dooku. Promising peace and purpose, he draws her into the shadowed ranks of the growing Separatist movement.
