Asher has been roused at midnight for weeks, unable to sleep - in fact, he feels more alive and alert at that god-forsaken hour than he does in the light of day. When sleep does claim him, just before the break of dawn, his dreams are haunted by moonlight - cold, watchful, and ancient.

When reality begins to bend - shadows moving where they shouldn't, strangers calling him by names he's never heard, celestial events pulling tides and tempers alike - Asher finds himself caught in a war he never asked to join. A mythological powder keg is already smouldering, as tensions between gods and ancient forces rise.
