Two young women are on the run from a glowing celestial entity known only as The Architect - the being that once claimed to have created them all, and now abducts chosen people for "evolutionary conversion experiments."

These experiments are said to "perfect" the soul and body, but those who return are not human anymore. They're emotionless. Devoted. Glowing. Clean.

The girls refuse to be changed, to be erased so together, they run.

But the road is long. The sky pulses like a wound. And sometimes, at night, they both dream of light.

"You're staring at her," my friend sighs. "I'm not," I reply. "Simply just gazed over in a direction and she was there." "Then why was that look on your face?" "What?" I ask. "What look?" "You look a certain way when you see her," she informs. "You look at her and it's like you are staring at some sort of galaxy." "And?" "You love galaxies." ---- In which Taylor Swift, months before the biggest tour of her career, disappears not for rest, but for something more intimate: silence, slowness, and a borrowed kind of anonymity. She takes a position at a small university under conditions wrapped in non-disclosure and sealed lips, trading stadiums for seminar rooms and lecture halls, and the spotlight for the sound of her own thoughts, uninterrupted. She comes to teach, to disappear without vanishing. To slip between the chapters of someone else's life without rewriting her own. Vivienne Langford is already a name on campus-well-liked, well-feared, and rarely understood. She moves like someone who knows every eye is already on her, speaks with a kind of careless precision that leaves people listening long after she's gone. Confident. Mouthy. Brilliant without ever begging to be noticed. There are rumors, of course. Girls like her always collect them. Taylor tells herself it's nothing. That she's in control. That this semester is about literature, not longing. But pages turn. Eyes linger. And Vivienne begins to feel less like a student and more like the story Taylor can't stop reading. Boundaries blur, silence speaks louder than names, and the line between desire and danger becomes paper-thin.

Sequel to Only Me and You! Following the grueling breakup between pop sensations Elara Fleur and Taylor Swift, Elara chose to bolt. She now resided far from the poison of the music industry in Île de Ré, France. Her attempts to move on were far from ideal, as she resorted to fleeting affairs, hoping to erase the memories of her life with Taylor. On the other hand, Taylor was navigating the path through the breakup in a much different manner. She had been lamenting the loss of their relationship, fervently hoping for a reconciliation and a way to mend the broken string tying them together. Yet, Elara seemed to vanish. Other than her online posts for her career, she was unreachable, isolated. By February 2024, Taylor had nearly resigned on trying to find her ex girlfriend, accepting defeat and finding comfort in a new relationship, when destiny had other plans. Who knew it took being against each other at the Grammys to rekindle their relationship? Rated R due to mature themes and content warnings. TW! Mentions of mental health issues, miscarriages, cancer, sexual assault, and more. Read at your own discretion. This story is purely fictional, and the timeline is not accurate to real life. I own all of this work and characters, other than the obvious celebrities. Translating or copying my work is not permitted. Also, there is NOT a happy ending to this story. I wasn't sure where the plot was going, so I ended it on a different ending than I had anticipated. Apologies for when it gets confusing near the end. #1 at taylorswift
