When a guy with sea green eyes is attacked, a man in a wheelchair hands him a ballpoint pen-a freaking ball point because obviously, that's helpful-and the pen promptly turns into a glowing sword and just stare at her with mouth hung open confused as to what she was doing there or how she was seeing whatever was going on.
Cass doesn't have time to process. She grabs a broken chair, turns it into a makeshift wooden dagger, and does the only thing she can-fight back. Somehow, she survives. The creature turns to ash, the air hums with power.
