When Grian and Pearl's parents tell them that a family friend's son will be staying with them for a bit after the death of his mum, they have VERY DIFFERENT reactions.
Pearl is ecstatic, she remembers him from when they were younger and she absolutely loved him. Anyways, her friends will think she's cool for being friends with someone a year older than her!
Grian barely remembers HIM. But he remembers his MUM. And let's just say the impression wasn't the best. And he now thinks that his new 'roommate' will be just like his mum.

Grian was placed into a world, not EXACTLY sure what had happened before then, although he where he was. There was others too. Along with some mysterious entities, called themselves the watchers. They liked him, maybe a little too much. Eventually he found himself, he wasn't sure weather a human or something else. What is Grian exactly? Is he a watcher? A Hermit? Real?
