My Love Letters to the Dark is a deeply personal collection of poetry about loving from a distance, hurting close to home, and surviving the things no one sees.

These poems touch on the ache of long-distance relationships, the heaviness of a complicated bond with my parents, the quiet pain of chronic illness, and the hidden struggle with self-harm and depression.

They hold grief - for the grandpa who was my best friend and the grandma who was my safe place - and the slow, brave moment I finally let love in again.

For anyone who's ever felt like they were too much to carry - I hope you find pieces of yourself in these pages, and the reminder that you're never alone in the dark.

The Moon Remembers: After the War de Ms_Dozza
19 partes Continúa
"The moon remembers what he forgot. Where love was promised, even as memories faded. The river still flows, and the moon still watches us. It has become the silent keeper of everything his memories left behind: every vow, every touch, every whispered dream shared beneath its glow and beside the shimmering river. Promises made just for the two of us. Though he no longer remembers, the moon does. It holds the love he lost, the love I still carry." ----- Years after her husband's death, she still writes letters by moonlight, holding on to a love lost in war. Everyone says she's foolish for waiting. Until he returns... alive, but with no memory of her and a new life that doesn't include her. Now, she must choose: hold on to a love that's already gone, or let go of the only man she ever waited for. ----- Author's Claim: This is my first time publishing a story and I know I still need improvement. I'm not a professional writer, just someone with a heart full of memories, emotions, and a love that never found its ending. Every word I've written comes from a place of longing, loss, and the hope that maybe someone out there understands. I don't know where this story will go, or if it's enough... But I do know it's real. And if you're reading this, thank you because it means the story is no longer just mine. It's ours now. - From a first-time publisher who still believes in love, even the kind that hurts. Ouchhh P.S. still ongoing and editing some parts.
