Gem only recently discovered who she really is, the princess of Eremita. With her coronation in only a week, she has to adapt to her new life quickly. As the threat of war creeps ever closer Gem is forced to step into her role as princess as the fate of the kingdom depends on it.
Pearl is the newly appointed handmaiden to the princess. She was resentful at first because the royal family were the ones keeping her and her brother enslaved, but soon she realized that not every royal is all that bad. Princess Gem is so nice to her even after finding out about her wings. When her brother is planning the assassination, of the Princess, she's caught between her best friend and her family.
