Wes and Betty's story is not far from any other story from films and novels. A story of "almost". The universe is telling them how good they are for each other, however, the storms around them were very strong, which keeps pulling them apart from each other.
Betty's storm is her own family, which keeping her tied to Harry-a young man whose Betty's family believes that is good for her, little they didn't know Harry was also Betty's storm. The rain continued to pour as Wes and Betty got separated from each other, bound to live a completely different life.
Years passed, the universe will bring them closer again. They're still the same Wes and Betty six years ago. This time, a question unfolds: Will they finally seize the moment and choose their feelings for each other, or will they just let the storm crash their shelter?
