It was just another day of patrolling around the Grand Line, same old areas, same old rules and regulations, and whatnot until it wasn't.
We just received intel that somebody go promoted instantly to be a Marine Admiral, no background, nothing. They will be arriving soon to Marine Ford; for formality's sake, we are required to greet him as soon as they set foot on the island.
Little did I know that 'him', would be a 'her'.
It is rare to have a female be part of the Marines, I mean, there's one in the Vice Admirals league, but a female Marine Admiral is unheard of. I find it charming.
I didn't know that from this small admiration would turn into something deep.

This story follows my oc Monkey D Ki on her journey: First with the Spade Pirates in the Prelude, then with the Straw Hats after the events of Syrup Village... etc. She is Luffy's paternal older half-sister and grew up in Foosha Village alongside him and Ace.
