in the fourth chapter of the nocturnal world. This story takes place 3000 years from the events of Mary Shelly's Frankenstein and after the events from Aqua's story, Queen of the sea. Franklin aka Frank is a kind hearted monster who is created by a kind man named David who is threatened by his old coworker Professor Albert. who has always resented him. And who is obsessed when? recreating? Victor Frankenstein's work. And when he finds out that David is his descendant, he forces him to make him his very own monster. but when his monster is not what he expected.
He kills him and takes Victor's journal and seeks out someone else who can translate it. Just as his creator lays dying he asks Frank to not only protect his family but to also destroy the book. Now Frank embarks on the journey to protect his creator's family and to destroy the book before the mad professor can use it to create a creature that will carry out its Masters madness.
