Sloane's Dark Knight

Dev Montclair is known to be cold hearted and unfeeling, a monster. Head of the criminal world and loves it. He is known and feared. He is not altruistic, if he helps someone you can be sure that there's something in it for him.
Sloan Merideth, she would rather be dead than go back to her family. None of her family was good, although some of her brothers did help her escape the hell she was living. She is thankful for that.
She started over, new city, new life. Didn't know anyone other than her boyfriend.
When her boyfriend pulled over to the side of the road in the bad side of town and tried to force her into sex she fought back. He nearly beats her to death before leaving her on the ground with no purse, phone or ID.
Sloane manages to pull herself into a sitting position and that take everything she has left. She silently allows the tears to come. The next thing she knows a stranger lifts her face up and gives her some choices. She passes out from the pain before she can even speak so he makes the choice for her.
