In this world nothing matters but power. Society has a strict hierarchy, the strong hold all the power and influence. Beating anyone weaker than them with little to no fear of consequences, because there is none, if you're strong you can do whatever you want. if you are weak then you better keep your head down and don't piss off someone stronger than you, because society sure as hell won't care what happens to you.

In the world, the strong are expected to be perfect, to command respect and authority with their mere presence, to be leaders and role models and beat anyone who doesn't show them that, cause who are the weak to talk back and disrespect the strong? They need to learn their place.

But what happens when one of the strong isn't like that?

He isn't perfect, yes his power commands respect but they don't respect him for who he is, they respect him out of fear what he will do if they don't show it. He isn't a perfect role model, he isn't the top of the class, he isn't formal, he doesn't rise up and lead like he's expected too. And he's completely fine with that.
