In the aftermath of a brutal battle, an Orc soldier, presumed dead, claws his way back to life. While seeking refuge, he encounters a disillusioned human deserter who has turned his back on a genocidal campaign against the Orcs. As fugitives from both their peoples, they must survive, heal, and forge a friendship in a hostile world. What begins as reluctant cooperation slowly becomes a deep bond, one that might change the future of their war-torn world.

Changing Times | A Human x Anthro story
As time passed, things changed. With the change, pain followed. This is a story of a man locked in the past full of teaching that he found to be flawed. Join Cael Adrian, a soldier that was apart of the North American Resistance Army, a group of freedom fighters who once tried to save the husk of a nation from an invading force, only to learn that they were behind on information. This story was greatly inspired by works like The Swan Song and A Man In A Beasts World. As will be mentioned in the foreword chapter, I am not a furry, though I have many friends who are. There will be many references in this story, most will be from works such as Call Of Duty, Escape From Tarkov, and STALKER, though there will be other references spread throughout. There will also be characters seen that are NOT owned by me, but rather are original characters made by friends of mine.
The Ancients
A war plagues the livable north of Mokosh. Both dwarven and human lives lost. Trying to keep the peace a prince and his bastard friend make their way into the arms of yet another enemy. Yet the terrors of the world are not done plaguing them as they are thrust into a journey they have no business being a part of. Yet somehow a bastard, a ward, and two princes find the world's fate resting directly on their shoulders. Author's note: I know I know, I put an Author's note in here already saying I was going to try to maintain one chapter a month. But unfortunately, the fascism is getting to me, and I (very unfortunately) am under govt. contract, so it is taking me a while to get through these, while editing plus proof reading, and doing literally everything else. Your understanding and patience does not go unnoticed. I appreciate you all taking the time to read my book. It is still going, even if there hasn't been updates in months. This party of four have been living in my head over a decade they have to come out. TLDR Fascism is kicking my ass. No, I'm not dead. No I didn't give up on the book. Life has been a never ending series of disappointments for Arkady: a failed marriage, an earth-shattering apocalyptic event, the creation of bipedal animals who don't take kindly to humans, and the failures of the people in power to do anything about any of it. So, overall, not much different from the other people in the Latvian Exclusion Zone. He earned the respect of his fellow stalkers and the disrespect of the people who label those in his position as criminals. He spent a third of his life after finding his place in the Zone trying to search for his ex-wife. Though those attempts proved fruitless. ' Until one day, a bounty hunting job leads him to discover something he was never meant to see. Documents proving that she, his ex-wife, the woman he still loves now, might still be alive. His obsession is reignited, and finally his life has a purpose beyond taking jobs to stay alive. But his discovery is not only his own. The people in power, the ones that had failed him so many times before, have decided that his discovery is theirs. Will his unofficial VDV training from Alexei, his lessons from the Zone, and experience in civilian division of the Latvian military be able to keep him alive long enough to discover where she's gone after all these years? The Swan's Song.
Humanity has fallen before the Anthro races. Twenty years of war has reduced the human population to drastically low numbers, severe enough to warrant the Anthro races to "reposition" their stance on humanity despite an almost fanatical unwillingness to surrender. A war for extermination turns into a rescue mission overnight. Enter Sako Squad, comprised of six highly trained spec-ops soldiers for the Anthro Military. They have been tasked to locate and capture a famous and notorious human resistance fighter only known by the alias of "Swan."
