Bellgrave Academy is a crumbling, prestigious arts and philosophy school. It's nestled deep in the Appalachian woods of West Virginia where rumors swirl of the 7th bell: A forbidden ritual tied to the disappearance of a student decades ago. Second-year transfer student Arielle Mireille is seeking refuge from a panic attack at her last school, but her anxiety unravels into nightmares after hearing a bell that no one else claims to hear, or wants to talk about. 

As she digs deeper, she is drawn into a secret society, an enigmatic librarian attendant with too many secrets, and visions that feel almost like memories-or warnings. But some doors at Bellgrave only open when you're willing to lose something.
