"pretty blue streetlight,
and my hazel eyes,
and if it feels right
we could go again like three, four times
so my type
got butterflies
so good it hurts"
in the world of speed, trust is earned in gears and heartbreak - and for Isabela Toretto, the streets of LA are where loyalty runs deeper than blood. when an undercover cop steps into her brother's crew, everything she's ever known starts to shift.
what begins with stolen glances and flirty remarks slowly spirals into something far more dangerous: a connection neither of them knew they needed, and a love that could destroy them both.
from the sun-drenched chaos of LA to heat-soaked nights of Miami to racing in Brazil and more, Isabela is pulled deeper into a life she never asked for- one fueled by betrayal, speed, and choices that can't be undone. somewhere between crossed lines and colliding hearts, a connection grows between them, one that will change their lives forever, tying them in more ways than one.
but in a world where every mile leaves a scar and every decision could be your last, can love survive the fallout? will love really triumph over all?
spanning from the very first race to high-stakes reunions, colliding lanes is a story of family, found and broken, of passion that won't die, and of a woman who learns that sometimes, the most dangerous thing on the road....is the man driving besides you.
All rights to the original story, characters, dialogues, scenes, etc., go to the creators of the Fast and Furious Franchise. Only my OC's and new storylines belong to me. This book is a work of fiction. Names, characters, places and incidents are either a product of my imagination or used fictitiously, and if they do resemble people in reality, living or dead, businesses, events or locals, is an absolute coincidence.
The smell of burnt rubber, the sound of bass-thumping music, and the feeling of the steering wheel in her hands was home. Heaven. Whatever you wanted to call it. She loved it.
The large spotlights shone bright against the warehouse buildings lining the small road, illuminating the thrum of people and cars that surrounded the area. They lined the street, pulling in and lifting the hoods to show off their hard work. Women pranced around in short skirts, bikini tops, and anything you wouldn't consider real clothing.
Pulling into a semi-solitary parking spot at the end of the roadway, she was safe from the hustle and bustle of shitty racers trying to convince anybody, anybody, to race.
