"The oldest and strongest emotion of mankind is fear, and the oldest and strongest kind of fear is fear of the unknown." - H.P. Lovecraft There are truths which man was never meant to unearth-truths that predate our species, our world, even the stars that burn above us. This book is not a tale in the traditional sense. It is a collection of recollections, fragments, and fevered ravings-stitched together from the journals, letters, and dying confessions of those who have glimpsed the abyss and returned to speak of it, however briefly. These are not tales of ghosts or petty phantoms, but of something far more dreadful: the realization that our reality is but a fragile illusion, a thin veil drawn over a vast, ancient madness that hungers just beyond our comprehension. I do not offer explanations, only warnings. The stories herein may seem disconnected, even contradictory-but taken together, they suggest a pattern far more terrifying than any single account could convey. They speak of cities that predate known history, of languages that warp the mind, of entities whose names twist the tongue and whose forms the eye cannot bear. Should you proceed, do so with the gravest caution. These pages are a door-once opened, they cannot be closed. What you read may haunt your dreams, gnaw at your sanity, and, if you are truly unfortunate, call to you. There are places where the fabric of the world grows thin. This book is a map to those places. May you never find them.

Books Aren't Like The Real World Spin-Off (Oh BrEe WhYd YoU cHaNgE tHe CoNcEpT?!: Because I can.) ------- There's a legend that tells a tale of a group of 7, immortal and dangerous. They roam around Earth every few centuries and destroy what mankind works hard for. That is, if this legend is even true at all. -|-|-|-|-|- *Warning* -Profanity -Completely rushed -Lots of characters you have to remember -|-|-|-|-|- Seven emotions: Rage, Fear, Envious, Sadness, Happy, Disgust, and Anticipation, all with their certain powers. Ideally, they're immortal, but the more power they use, the more their life shortens. Certain requirements had to be made so that they could live on Earth and breath the oxygen. And after so many years of fighting and fighting, having almost no time to live the lives they want, they give up, spending what normal teenagers would use to play video games or go shopping to train and increase their magic. With another big attack coming along soon, Rage is going to go into Immortal's Death for sure, Envious, Happiness and many others are certainly going to be on the brink of it. With training and modern technology blocking their lives, is it a good thing when someone, specifically a boy who claims he's a spawn of Satan, enters their world? ----- Highest Rank:#26 7/26/17 ---- Started: April 29th, 2017 Finished: August 17th, 2017
