I was just there for my best friend's birthday. I didn't expect the owner of the bar to be watching me like he already knew my name.

I'm a nurse-Bronx-raised, independent, and too damn busy saving lives to play games. I've worked for everything I have, and the last thing I need is some rich, cocky asshole thinking he can own me with a smirk and a drink.
