Ellie wasn't confident that she'd become a rookie. The biggest upper hand she had was when it came to fighting. Due to her time in the South Side she knew how to handle herself. She knew how to push herself. She knew her limits. Yet she still believed that no department would take her. Not until captain Zoe Anderson personally called her to invite her to join the LAPD.
This was her chance. Loss Angeles had a lot to offer. It was a fresh start for her and her siblings. No ties attached.
