Iris has had a difficult life, running from her past and living like a nomad. She is not a regular wolf. She curses the Moon goddess for the gifts she possesses. The ability to heal others. We stared at each other for a while, neither wanting to give in to the other. His cold blue eyes stared deep into my soul, as my brown ones stared into his. Although I don't know the owner to these gorgeous blue eyes, I feel as if I've met him before. It must have been in another life cause I'd definitely remember him. __________________________________ "C'mon baby doll, you wouldn't make anything that could possibly kill me, right?" He shakily asks me. "Of course not..." I tell him, letting my sarcastic side show. "But Ave, if you kill me, who else are you going to cuddle with at night?" He teases. "Okay, that was one time!! And I was extremely dunk, so I don't even remember what happened that night, and I don't ever want to know." I yell, trying to reason with him. He walks close, only a few centimeters away from my face, our breaths mixing. "You wouldn't miss me?" He asks with a whisper. Feeling daring, I peck his lips. "Of course I would dumby. And I'm not going to kill you. Why would I do that? I am simply going to make you a smoothie, and you are going to pretend it's the worst thing ever. Got it?" 'Mate!' my wolf yipped happily, although she was very weak she got to sound very excited, but I didn't. I didn't want a mate, one that I am putting in danger. Those people said they would find me no matter where I ran to, I couldn't put my mate or his pack in danger. My wolf whimpered knowing it was the truth. "Kitten," my mate purred, before he growled, "mine!" softly as he let go of my arm and lightly touched my cheek, now I felt the sparks firing on my skin. 'Kitten? Was this guy for real?! ~read the rewrite, 'Celestial Bodies: Of Runts and Lycans,' on Good Novel~ #1 in werewolf (first time: December 13th, 2015) #64 in drama (May 11th, 2018) -unedited, first draft version. things are spelled wrong. i hate the main character and the timeline is a mess. read the rewrite. trust me- Xavier sighed and tried to move in front of me without scaring me into backing away from him. "It's okay little one," he said as came closer to me. I felt so tiny in his presence, especially in wolf form. He knelt down and tried to move closer but I whimpered and backed up more into the tree. He sighed again before trying again and I tired to put all my fears away as he once again reached out his hand. I put my head down, hoping that if I couldn't see him, I wouldn't be scared. As I felt his hand on my back and felt tingles explode, I jumped but then relaxed as I got used to it. I calmed down more as he picked up my small frame and held me close before whispering into my ear, "What has happened to you little one?" *~*~*~* Celeste has always been running. When she was little a group of rouges killed most of her pack and the remaining wolves ran, including her. Over the years they have slowly split off until it is only her and her mother running. When the rouges once again find them her mother spared her own life to keep her beloved runt safe. She ran, but eventually she could no longer run for her tiny body hadn't had the energy. Now she has been found by a new pack, The Paramount pack, and she is surprised when she finds her mate. I have discovered that in my times of darkness the only thing that keeps me sane is daily writing. Imagine. A vampire walks into a psychologists office, lays back on the couch. The psychologist is blonde and buxom, pen and pad in hand ready to "fix or assist". "What brings you here, sir" she would say. The immortal glances over notices no ring on her finger, feeling his fangs extending brushing his bottom lip. The immortal letting out a sigh glances over at the beautiful doctor his mind reeling with what to say. The frustration in knowing that this beautiful being, who probably tastes like pure honey, is highly unqualified to deal with my issues.... Well at least in the therapy department.Complete

Prologue- The long haul It's been nearly a year now since I've see Brandon and I'm really starting to worry. As I sit at my desk staring out in space I felt a breeze touch my shoulder and I thought it was nothing till it did it again that's when I was startled and paying attention now. I turned around to find a cat jumping up on my bed and staring at me. Is coat was as black as midnight with white paws. I just looked at it and it seemed to have a meaning or a purpose of being here and I couldn't tell whether it was good or bad. It just started to bathe itself as I turn back to my desk and started to type my essay when it hoped on my desk and it looked like it was saying something and then I realized it really was talking. "Hey, take your damn headphones out of your face and listen to me!"I took my headphones out and I just looked at the cat and he started talking again. "The council is asking for your presence in a week to discuss the consequences." "Wait,what council and consequences? Did I do something wrong?" "It's not what you did it's what Brandon did." "Wait, you saw Brandon,where? Is he ok?" "Not for long he's not gonna be if the council gets to him." "What do they need me for I haven't seen or heard from him in months!?" "Well all I can legally tell you is if you don't find him the council will kill him." I stood there in anger and in fear that he did something he promised he wouldn't do and on the other hand this cat is telling me that if I don't fin him that the council will kill him, I wanna know what the hell is going on. The cat leaves just as quickly as he entered and left me with the words, "I would hurry if I was you."Complete
