His brown locks fell over his bright eyes. I watched him push them away hurriedly, a playful smile curling at his lips. He was filled with confidence, demanding bravado wherever he went, or so I thought. I couldn't help but stare, any girl at all would do anything to be in my place right now. But I wasn't any girl.
"What's your name?" His drawl was sweet and intoxicating, I felt my heartbeat speed up and I swallowed hard, my eyes narrowing. I didn't trust him, why should I? But still, I replied.
"Jasmine."
