Ryu Shi-oh has never seen color-only a world drowned in shades of black, white, and gray. The sky glows white, the earth lies in gray silence, and blood drips in deepest black. He's long wondered what others see-what color feels like. But when a strange painting breathes and stirs before his eyes, reality begins to unravel... and for the first time, he might finally see the world what others have always seen.

Inside that painting lives Nam-soon-a guardian of life itself. Tasked with saving endangered beings from vanishing, she weaves between worlds through painted portals. But when the Keeper of Time shatters the delicate balance of existence, Nam-soon is forced to take on a second burden she never asked for. Already stretched thin, she opens a portal to correct the chaos-only to find herself in a museum, staring down the barrel of a gun... and a bullet lodged in the very painting she calls home.

As their fates collide, color, time and truth unravel, revealing a connection neither of them expected.
