This is a hollow knight self insert. I'm doing my best to make it as accurate as possible, and there are MAJOR spoilers. If you don't like self inserts, or haven't finished Hollow Knight yet, this story isn't for you. Otherwise, it's a bit comedic, so I hope you enjoy! This story is about a girl who has her family taken away from her as her life lands in a different world, the supernatural world, with new people and creatures she trudges though life on her own accord and dodging fate.

With the escape of every single vessel in the battle of the abyss, the Pale King had developed a plan to eliminate the survivors. He created dozens of "hunters" meant only to track down and kill their fellow vessels. Twelve was one of them. A few years after Hallownest fell to the infection, Twelve was able to break free of the white palace. In a world they were never intended to see, they must find their way, and learn how to survive all over again. As if it weren't enough, most vessels were never truly hollow. Twelve was no different, and now grapples with the horrible misdeeds of their time as a hunter. One thing is certain for them. They are not a hero. They may not be the villain anymore, but they are beyond redemption. And as always, this story is exclusive to Wattpad, and if it is seen on any other site, such as NovelHD for example, I didn't put it there.
