When Hades, god of the underworld and the dead, notices a strange disturbance in the amount of souls in the underworld.
One man's soul, split. A fragment of the soul in the underworld, still waiting for the others to return.
Hades is way too busy to deal with it himself, and with an old rule that gods aren't allowed to interfere with mortals lives, well... this really pissed him off.
So what better then to send some demigods on a quest to make sure the dark lord doesn't rise again? And who's to say they can't be his own kids?

When humans were still being perfected by the titans, Hecate had come forward to add her own additions to them. She foresaw that the humans would need her skills to defeat this one particular person, by the name of Tom riddle.
So what did she do?
She did what she had to do. Hecate decided to take matters into her own hands, not wanting to anger the titans and the gods, she simply didn't tell anyone what she had done.
She gave some of the humans magic.
The gods found out a few centuries later, and forbade Hecate from intervening anymore.
But when what Hecate foresaw was about to come true, she knew she couldn't sit still and watch one main try to gain immortality.
She knew hades wouldn't be happy, so she went with him with an idea...

Once, Percy and the camp have finished the rebuild Percy goes on a quest for Athena, to gain her approval and permission to marry Annabeth. He is greeted with a surprise, upon his return however. Meanwhile on Olympus, the tensions are boiling yet again. Not because of a threat to all of Olympus, but the threat of civil war. Poseidon and Hades both thinking it is their right to rule, Apollo wishing to escape punishment, Athena thinking her father's actions will be Olympus's downfall. Others join them, who agree that Zeus is a terrible king. Still, there are those who remain loyal to the king, but there are those who choose to remain neutral in fear for they do not wish to be punished if they choose wrong. On top of the threats of war the relations between demigods and their parents both sour and get better, depending on the god/goddesses. It was a couple years after the Battle of Hogwarts. A lot of people were finally getting over their shock of the war. Well, most. There were still plenty of people who were still grieving their friends or family's or people they just knew's death. George, for instance, hasn't told or did a prank in months after his twins death. They were practically two puzzle pieces, and if put together, the best prank combo ever. Also, Harry was devastated when Remus and Tonks died, he tried not to show it though. He didn't want people giving him sympathetic looks and what not. Remus was the one who taught him the patronus charm and saved his life countless of times. And Tonks always shifted her form to a pig or something and made him laugh. There were also loads of other people who were grieving also and Hecate was getting worried. You see, Hecate gave four mortals the ability to use magic, but threw magic sticks instead. They soon after made a magical school to teach young witches and wizards to use magic. Centuries gone by and the story of how they got there magical powers twisted and turned until Hecate was out of the picture. Now Hogwarts and many other institutes around the world are basically Hecate's pet world. Anyways, the one person who Hecate know that has gone through the most heartbreak, trauma, and betrayal and that is still sane is... Nico Di Angelo. He will know how to sympathize for these wizards and help them cope. But will the young masters like him? Will they be scared of him? Or will they think he is one of the best teachers at Hogwarts?
