Why had the she chosen him among all mostals, this guardian of the waves, said in sailor tales as the harbinger of despair the seductress who lured men to their agonizing ends? She was tempest in hunger yet spared him, wove no death, but unveiled a smile instead. She came to him, and Gojo drew her from brine to soil, taught her the warmth of smiles and the language of emotions, begged the song that once chained his heart beneath the moon's gaze on the night they met, and she sang faithfully, with a voice both haunting and tender.

But joy is never eternal. She could not remain upon the land, bound by the immutable laws of sirens barred her from breaking free of her own watery dominion.

So she offered him eternity in fragments. For Y/N, drawn irresistibly to him, could not stay away, neither could he. Forsaking nobility, the human heart he had known to embrace the siren's world and dwell forever by her side where love is as boundless as the sea.
