March 11, 2020. In a single press conference, the WHO's announcement that COVID-19 was officially a pandemic turned our world upside-down. From bustling streets to deserted avenues, nothing felt the same.
Drawing from my own lockdown diary entries and interviews with nurses, teachers, and shopkeepers, this book takes you back to that momentous day. You'll walk through the feverish scramble for PPE ( personal protective equipment), experience the hush of overnight curfews, and witness the emotional toll on families forced apart.
What inspired this book?
I'm one of the millions who watched as empty streets and shuttered cafés became our new reality. I wrote this to capture not just the historic facts, but the human resilience that saw us through.
