Mochizuki Natsume and her younger sister, Mochizuki Miyu, were once the shining faces of Tokyo's teen modeling scene-flawless, untouchable, and always side by side. But when their family moves to the quiet seaside town of Ukigumo to care for their aging grandfather, the spotlight fades. Or so it seems.
Natsume, bold and electric, chafes against the stillness. She was never meant for slow days or small towns. When she meets Kou-mysterious, magnetic, and a little dangerous-something in her sparks. She dives in, heart first, chasing the intensity she's always craved, even if it leads her somewhere dark.
Miyu, quieter but just as striking, continues to draw attention without ever reaching for it. Fame clings to her, but it never felt like hers to begin with. She cares more about melodies than magazine spreads. Skipping a grade left her surrounded by older students, out of sync and adrift-except when Otomo is around.
Otomo is sunshine in human form-easy to talk to, always smiling. He sees Miyu in a way others don't, like she's not just the other Mochizuki sister. Around him, she doesn't feel like she has to perform. She doesn't have to be anyone else. Still, there's a quiet ache in the way his gaze lingers on Natsume a little too long.
Even so, something between them shifts. Slowly. Gently. Like a song only they can hear. Miyu doesn't know if it's enough-but for the first time, she starts to wonder what it would feel like to be chosen, not just watched.
