When Sae got the news that Bunny had arrived in Japan, he didn't think much of it.

His old rival's itinerary had nothing to do with him.

At least not until he posted a photo on his social media that has gotten viral. But, that's not the point.

'WHY is HE with MY brother'

The moment he saw that photo he felt his world was turned upside down.

Look and behold, in the photo, behind the smiling bunny holding a peace sign, there is a very familiar teenager wearing a scowl. One that has a face almost identical to his own.

Sae clenched his fist, as all he could feel was rage.

'Was he not satisfied with ruining me? That he has to target Rin next?' Along with that rage, fear started to arise from deep inside him.

'No!' He won't let Rin experience the same thing he did! He won't let Rin fall into the same trap!

....

Before he knew it, he was standing in front of Japan's airport, holding his suitcase in one hand.
And Bunny in front of the door, waiting, with that infuriating smirk he always wears.

What will Sae do?
As protecting Rin, proves to be difficult do to their strained relationship.

Meanwhile old memories resurfaces, while old buried feelings started to arise.

📌Long italicized texts means that it's a flashback.

They've been dating for three months, but something's off. Itoshi Sae isn't one to talk about his feelings. Shidou Ryusei isn't one to hold back. Somewhere between missed calls and quiet dinners, the tension builds-sharp, cutting, and unspoken. Shidou can't take it anymore. He asks the one question he never thought he'd need to. What follows is a slow, aching unraveling of two people who care too much and say too little-until the silence finally shatters. A raw and emotional journey through miscommunication, longing, and the terrifying vulnerability of actually wanting to stay. ⸻ 📝 Author's Note: This book was inspired in part by Komi Can't Communicate - specifically Volume 31, Chapter 406, written and illustrated by Tomohito Oda. One particular moment in that chapter moved me deeply, and while I didn't copy it directly, I reimagined it in this story with my own voice and characters. 💔 Unwanted Lisa Manoban was born into the richest and most powerful family in Thailand. Her father, Anurak Manoban, a Thai business tycoon, and her mother, Kim Soojin, a Korean heiress, built an empire that ruled every industry-oil, hotels, automobiles, entertainment, stocks, and beyond. Her elder sister, Chaeyoung Manoban, and elder brother, Bambam Manoban, were admired everywhere they went, treated like royalty. To the world, the Manoban family was untouchable. But to little Lisa, it was all empty. She would run with tiny feet to her father, pulling his hand: > "Dada... pway wif me, pwease..." And his cold voice would push her away: "Go away, Lisa. You are not important." She would tug at her sister's dress, eyes shining: > "Unnie... Lisa sit wif you?" But Chaeyoung would shove her off with disgust: "Don't call me unnie. You're not my sister." She would hug her toy and look at Bambam: > "Oppa... pway toy wif Lisa?" But he would glare and snap: "Don't bother me, Lisa. You mean nothing here." And her mother? She never even looked at her. Just silence. In a palace filled with gold, cars, and diamonds, Lisa had no love-no mama hugs, no dada kisses, no sister, no brother. Just loneliness. At night, clutching her small hands, she whispered to the sky: > "God... why nobody want Lisa? Why Lisa unwanted... even by her own famiwy?" And in this whole cruel world... did Lisa have anyone who truly wanted her in their life? ---
