Hazel's life was a mess of crime, violence and anger, until the day a spark both literal and figurative came into it.
Abused and neglected by her father, she had no choice than to escape the hell of her life, turning to the grit of the Manhattan streets to do it. Until her criminal life led her into a worse nightmare-and right into the path of the new guardian of the New York sanctum, a powerful sorcerer who knows just what it's like to feel powerless, alone and worthless.
But can she trust him? And is she willing to leave her own plans behind for what might be coming instead?

(Y/n) (l/n), a beautiful and highly intelligent woman who, at a young age, decided she would dedicate her life to save others. She put all her energy into studying and getting into med school to become a neurologist. The young girl received her MD and PhD at the same time, due to a photographic memory. While studying hard had many benefits, it also had a few disadvantages, like not making any friends. This of course lead her to be the subject of many bullies, a common one being Stephan Strange. So using the last of your money you booked a oneway flight to Kathmandu, in hopes of healing yourself, mentally and physically. After a few years you became one of the best, using your amazing photographic memory to memorise every book you had access too. One day you are summoned by the Ancient One and meet with an old bully, Stephan Strange. What will happen?
